What people are saying:

Melanie headshot

"During the under-toe strengthening practice, I felt more grounded. My toes felt active and ready—like they could help me recover more quickly if I lost balance.

I was genuinely surprised by how effective both lessons were, and how quickly I felt a difference."

—  Melanie, 66, Librarian/Writer

Cathy Testimonial

"After the Improve Your Balance lesson, my feet feel happier and more grounded. My toes and arches have a clearer connection to the earth—and I’m realizing just how vital that connection is for balance and movement.”

— Cathy, 62, Massage Therapist

Maryann Headshot

" One major thing was a more upright, balanced posture and feeling more firm on my feet when standing. What I also love is your friendly, funny, interesting conversation throughout! Your comments keep me interested and thinking."

- Maryann, 69, Editor

This 30-day challenge is built around one simple exercise

a 5-minute movement sequence designed to activate the deep, often-overlooked intrinsic muscles of your feet.

You’ll do the same short practice every day, focusing on just one foot—the one that needs the most attention. With this one exercise that targets and re-awakens forgotten muscles, you’ll begin to feel real change not only in your feet, but throughout your whole body.

🧠 Why this works

Most people don’t realize that it’s the smaller, deeper muscles—not the big flashy ones—that provide the foundation for balance. These intrinsic foot muscles are closest to the bones and essential for fine-tuned control, shock absorption, and coordination.

When these muscles weaken (from aging, injury, or lack of use), your whole body pays the price.

This gentle, focused practice helps you:

  • Improve your balance and stability
  • Rebuild subtle neuromuscular control
  • Feel more grounded, steady, and confident
  • Move with greater ease and awareness
How's Your Balance? A Feldenkrais approach to improving your feet

What to Expect

  • You’ll receive the video on December 1
  • It’s the same short lesson each day—just 5 minutes
  • You'll receive a daily reminder and more info on what makes this lesson so important
  • You’ll do the practice on one foot only (whichever needs more help)
  • No equipment required—just a soft bag or ribbon, and your attention
